Mother Helpage CEO Meets the Mayor of Derby
On 19 March 2025, Mother Helpage proudly marked another milestone in its journey of service and community engagement.
Strenghtening collaboration
Our CEO, Roshan Ara, met with the Mayor of Derby, Ged Potter, for a meaningful discussion on strengthening collaboration, supporting vulnerable communities, and expanding humanitarian efforts both locally and globally.
The meeting served as an important opportunity to share the vision, mission, and ongoing projects of Mother Helpage, while also exploring ways in which local government and charitable organisations can work together to bring about sustainable change. Roshan Ara shared insights into Mother Helpage’s humanitarian work and ongoing projects.
Mayor Ged Potter expressed his appreciation for the vital work being carried out by Mother Helpage and reiterated the importance of unity, partnership, and innovation in tackling the challenges faced by communities today. Both leaders recognised the pressing need for greater collaboration between the charitable sector and civic bodies to ensure that no one is left behind, especially in times of crisis.
We are deeply grateful to Mayor Ged Potter for taking the time to meet with us and for his unwavering support of community initiatives. Together, we are committed to making a lasting difference — empowering individuals, uplifting communities, and shaping a brighter future for all.
