Mother Helpage is proud to have successfully completed another Marriage Support Project in Sri Lanka, helping five deserving couples celebrate their wedding day and begin married life with dignity, security, and hope.
For many families, the cost of a wedding can be a significant financial challenge. To ease this burden, Mother Helpage provided comprehensive marriage assistance, covering essential wedding expenses including the venue, catering, wedding rings, and other ceremony-related costs. This support enabled the couples and their families to celebrate this special occasion without the stress of overwhelming financial pressure.
In addition to the wedding expenses, each bride received Bride Security Money, which was deposited directly into her personal bank account. This fund is exclusively in the bride's name, ensuring she has financial security as she begins married life. The security money provides a sense of independence and acts as a financial safeguard, offering support in times of need while helping women build a more secure future.
The wedding ceremony was a joyful celebration attended by the newlyweds, their families, community members, and the Mother Helpage Sri Lanka team. It was a wonderful opportunity to witness five couples beginning a new chapter surrounded by love, encouragement, and hope.
